Short description of the project:
Govorko is a tool for augmentative and alternative communication for children with disabilities developed by students of Computer Hardware Engineering and Electronics at FEEIT (https://feit.ukim.edu.mk/en/computer-…) Gjorgji Smilevski developed the first version of Govorko, and Marija Grozdanovska and Valerija Mladenovikj developed the latest version with the help of Stefan Janev. The code is freely available on GitLab https://gitlab.com/govorko/govorko
Work on Govorko was wholeheartedly supported by experts from the Association for Assistive Technologies Open the Windows (https://openthewindows.org/). The tool was also evaluated with the help of the Association for early stimulation, development and play in children Kreativa Istok (https://www.facebook.com/people/Kreat…).
