Short description of the project:
In this example we have a fruit dryer. The dryer is made within the course Computer Process Control and can automatically control the temperature using a PID algorithm. The measurement is performed with a temperature sensor, and the control is performed with a heater and a fan. The dryer has the ability to set the temperature curve at which the fruits will be dried, all in order to enable drying according to the optimal technological process for drying fruits. The construction of the dryer consists of several stages, starting from the research of the technological processes, then the construction of the dryer, then the implementation and adjustment of the management algorithm, and finally, the drying of the fruit.
