Short description of the project:
In this diploma thesis, a procedure for determining the protection zone of a system for protection from atmospheric discharges is developed. The system for protection is consisted of a lightning rod. In addition to the practical calculations for determining the protection system parameters, visualization is performed, i.e. graphic display of the lightning rod’s protection zone. This enables that the user has the opportunity to get an idea of the applied system.
