Short description of the project:
Тhe bachelor’s thesis presents an algorithm for licence plate recognition by implementation of various digital image processing techniques. The algorithm was designed by Elena Vasileva in 2017 and was adapted by Tatjana Petkovska for real-time implementation on the car park of FEEIT and the Faculty of Mechanical engineering. CNN’s are used for licence plate localization and plate text identification. The training of the neural networks is done in Python whereas the whole algorithm is implemented in C++ (https://feit.ukim.edu.mk/en/computer–…).
